Structural Engineer who is concerned with the analysis of Thickeners and other STEEL STRUCTURES using Staad.Pro software, the design of the members according to Indian and various international codes of practice as applicable, the design of the connections.
Essential: B.Tech/B.E. – Civil Engineering, Min 60%
Desirable: M.Tech/M.E. – Structural Engineering, Min 6.5GPA
Preparation of structural design criteria for a project.
Analysis & design of steel structures in accordance with Indian and/or International codes and standards.
Verification of structural behavior and member designs.
Design of connections for steel structures.
Preparation of design calculation reports.
Design of anchorages for foundations and preparation of foundation load data.
Review of 3D models
Competencies – Essential
In-depth understanding of steel structures design
Sound knowledge of analysis and design principles of seismic and wind.
Familiarity with Indian codes. Knowledge of American and/or European codes is an advantage.
Competencies – Desirable
Knowledge of FEA such as plate elements analysis in STAAD.Pro.
Familiarity with ductile detailing for structures in high seismic zones.
